Our patients come from around the block as well as around the state to experience the warm, personal care we provide. Dr. Cooney is originally from Indianapolis, IN, but moved to Georgia at the age of 5. After graduating from Duluth High School, he did his undergraduate studies at the University of Georgia obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 1998. Dr. Cooney then attended the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry in Augusta from 1998 to 2002. Dr. Cooney is married to Jessica, who was an elementary school teacher prior to tackling the job as a full time mom to 3 children, 2 boys and 1 girl. Dr. Cooney cares very deeply for his patient’s and enjoys not only improving their oral health, but also creating lasting relationships.

Terrie has worked for Dr. Cooney since early 2009 as a dental assistant. Prior to entering dentistry, Terrie worked in retail management for over 20 years. She has discovered that she loves the change and has brought with her great customer service that everyone will enjoy. Terrie moved from Maryland in 2008 and has acquired a fondness for sweet tea. Terrie enjoys spending time with her husband, Steve, and her 3 dogs.

Dental Hygienist

Heather is one of hygienist and has been with Dr. Cooney since 2010. She graduated from North Hall High and obtained her dental hygiene degree from Gainesville State College and Lanier Technical College in 2003. She is a busy mom and wife with three children: Dale, Josie, Cade and husband Jon. She also has three little dogs, Chewie, Chloe and Chipper. She enjoys working with patient's of all ages and is always a smiling face for the office.

Jennifer Cole

RDH-Dental Hygienist

Jennifer joined our practice in 2014 and is excited to be part of our team. She obtained her Dental Hygiene degree from Clayton College and State University in 2001. She loves working with our patients and strives to provide care that is both thorough and gentle. Jennifer, her husband Wayne and son Jonathan live in Jackson county and love the area. She enjoys spending time with her family, friends and outdoors.

Hannah grew up in Maysville, Ga and graduated from Ubekah Academy in 2012. She has been working for Dr. Cooney since May of 2014. She was recently married to Trevor Jones and now resides in Jefferson, GA. In her free time, Hannah enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She enjoys working with all the wonderful patients our office has the opportunity to treat.

Judith Cox

Judith Cox

Hygienist

Judith grew up in Winder, GA and graduated from high school in 1994. She attended Dekalb College and graduated with her dental hygiene degree in 1997. Judith currently lives in Jefferson, GA with her husband, Wesley, daughter, Cesyrea and son, Bryant. In her free time, Judith spends her time watching her children play softball and football. Her hobbies include cooking, gardening and sewing. Judith has been in hygiene for over 18 years and enjoys assisting providing patients with the best care possible.
